The Ageing in Australia: Cultural Diversity in Aged Care Expo gives service providers an unique opportunity to promote their services to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. With interpreters at hand they will be able to engage with people who speak languages other than English.
The Expo also provides a great networking opportunity with likeminded providers who are taking steps to address diversity and with providers who specialise in service provision to specific language or ethnic communities.

Cultural Diversity Week - 16 to 24 March 2013
Victorians from all backgrounds will unite for a week of exciting activities and events in celebration of Cultural Diversity Week, running from 16 to 24 March 2013.
Cultural Diversity Week is an opportunity for Victorians to come together to share aspects of their culture, faith and language, and celebrate the benefits multiculturalism brings to our State.
All Victorians are encouraged to participate in an established event, or to organise their own activity to mark the week.
Communities, organisations and schools who are hosting activities can register their events with the Victorian Multicultural Commission. Free promotional material kits are available to order from the Victorian Multicultural Commission website to help you support and promote your activities.

Harmony Day - 21 March 2013
Harmony Day is managed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and coincides with the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
It is a day of cultural respect, widely celebrated across schools, childcare centres, community groups, churches, businesses and federal, state and local government agencies.
The message of Harmony Day is Everyone Belongs.
On 21st March 2013 the theme is: Many Stories – One Australia.

A Taste of Harmony - 18 to 24 March
A Taste of Harmony celebrates diversity in Australian workplaces by encouraging colleagues to share food and stories from different cultural backgrounds.
An initiative of the Scanlon Foundation, A Taste of Harmony will take place during the week of 18-24 March 2013 and coincides with National Harmony Day on the 21st of March.
A Taste of Harmony is a fun and free way to discover more about the cultural diversity that exists in your workplace. Simply register on the website, set a date and ask workmates to bring a dish to share.

With One Voice Choir Performs for Harmony Day
The Creativity Australia Choir 'With One Voice' has announced a special performance on Harmony Day - Thursday 21st March at 1pm, at 45 Collins Street, Melbourne.
Creativity Australia runs a network of community diversity choirs across Melbourne and interstate. The choirs welcome people from all walks of life.
There are no auditions and no singing experience is necessary. It's all about social inclusion, wellbeing and lifting spirits through song.
